Jumping rope advice me

Hi everybody,

I am looking at getting a rope, and wonder from people with experience with those, what the best kind to get is?

Right now I have a nylon rope w/plastic handles and i find it's just too light, and just whipping it around over my head seems like it takes more effort than it should. I'm thinking the actual rope spinning part is supposed to feel natural and not take much effort while the actual cardio comes from the jumping.

I should also mention, I have looked around and some of the prices on what amounts to a ROPE are kinda ridiculous. I really don't want to spend a lot of money on a string with handles.

Any advice is appreciated!

Re: Jumping rope advice me

Ross Enemait recommends a speed rope because it's light and is easier to maintain the rhythm.
