LipoPhos Forte in Health and Fitness : Conditions and Diseases

Topic: LipoPhos Forte

Message: LipoPhos Forte is a blend of highly refined essential phospholipids (EPL), natural substances that form the outer membranes of living cells. These naturally occurring lipids include phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylethanolamine, as well as linoleic and linolenic fatty acids, and are encapsulated in nanometer-size liposomes for complete intestinal absorption. EPL plays a role in cellular energy production, intracellular communication, and in maintaining cell membrane fluidity and integrity. EPL is involved in enzymatic processes that are a crucial part of cholesterol metabolism, transportation and elimination, and numerous clinical trials have confirmed that it supports blood lipids within normal levels. EPL may potentially support healthy platelet aggregation, cardiovascular health, peripheral brain circulation and exercise tolerance. LipoPhos Forte is beneficial for the proper functioning of heart & vessels. It contains beneficial substance (essential phospholipids) that maintains the cellular functions & proper blood circulation.

Topic: Hip Resurfacing - Hip Surgery -Knee Surgery

Message: Hi All, This article I just want to give some idea about Hip Resurfacing What is Hip Resurfacing?Hip resurfacing epitomizes medical achievements in arthroplasty. It is a conservative surgical technique of arthroplasty of the hip. In this the diseased surface of the head of femur is replaced with a cobalt chromium cap retaining all the healthy bone. The lining of the acetabulam is also replaced with the cobalt chromium cup. This mimics the natural hip closely and has near normal biomechanics, load transfer and range of movement at the hip joint. This surgery is performed under General Anaesthesia.
Flap Surgery in Health and Fitness : Conditions and Diseases

Topic: Flap Surgery

Message: The term flap refers to a section of living tissue that carries its own blood supply and is moved from one area of the body to another. Though success largely depends on the extent of injury, flap surgery has greatly improved a surgeon's ability to help a severely injured or disfigured patient. Using advanced techniques that may take hours to perform and that may require the use of an operating microscope, plastic surgeons can transplant large sections of tissue, muscle, or bone from one area of the body to another with the original blood supply intact. The surgeons at The Metropolitan Institute for Plastic Surgery have successfully used flap surgery to restore form and function to areas of the body that have lost skin, fat, muscle movement, and/or skeletal support. If you have been severely injured in an accident or have genetic disfigurement or defects from surgery that have caused the loss of skin, fat, muscle, and or skeletal support, you may be a good candidate for Flap surgery. Though every patient and every surgery is unique, flap surgery is often used in cases where skin grafts are unsuitable or when the injury or disfigurement is extensive. In a surgery as unique and complex as flap surgery, the communication and understanding between you and your doctor are essential to a successful surgical outcome. For this reason, you will meet at length with the doctors and staff of The Metropolitan Institute for Plastic Surgery while you are planning your surgery. The doctor will examine and evaluate your injury or disfigurement and will explain in detail the possible surgical options and their results. The goal is to ensure that you understand and feel comfortable with the procedure and its potential risks and expected results.

Topic: Hair Loss Question- I'm Really Scared, Please Help!

Message: Dear Daxx; You didn't say if you are overweight. If you are and gain weight easily, you could have a condition called PCOS (POLYCYSTIC OVARY SYNDROME). Next time you see your DR. ask about it. You may have too much insulin. OBJOE

Topic: Hair Loss Question- I'm Really Scared, Please Help!

Message: Dear Daax, you are too young now…At around this age, hormonal changes occur which sometimes cause hair loss. As Lodd has mentioned, that falling of 100 hairs daily is normal, now, you have to find out whether your hair fall exceeds the normal rate. If so, then immediately take measures against it so that you can stop further hair loss but please, for God’s sake, don’t use any chemical product. It will further contribute to your hair loss. You know, I have seen my fiancé going crazy when he started losing a hell lot of hair. His hair loss was so heavy, that he was almost at the verge of getting bald. He was only 25 then. We both became so upset and distressed too.:( Then, hair loss herbal treatment was like a savior. It took about 2-3 weeks to stop hair loss. But it was really a hit... And around a month new hair started growing. He is looking young again..:)

Topic: Graviola

Message: Graviola (Annona muricata), also known as soursop, is found in the Amazon jungle and some of the Caribbean islands. Graviola is a small, upright evergreen tree, 5–6 m high, with large, glossy, dark green leaves. It produces a large, heart-shaped, edible fruit that is 15–20 cm in diameter, is yellow-green in color, and has white flesh inside. Graviola is indigenous to most of the warmest tropical areas in South and North America, including the Amazon. The fruit is sold in local markets in the tropics, where it is called guanábana in Spanish-speaking countries and Graviola in Brazil. The fruit pulp is excellent for making drinks and sherbets and, though slightly sour-acid, can be eaten out of hand.

Urolithasis in Health and Fitness : Conditions and Diseases

Topic: Urolithasis

Message: Commonly called kidney stones, Urolithasis means stones in the urinary tract. These stones occur four times more often in men than women. The pain of having a stone has been compared to that of childbirth. The stones can be made of calcium, uric acid, oxalate, struvite, or cystine. Crystals that form in urine and build up on the inner surfaces of the kidney can form stones in the kidney (nephrolithiasis), the ureter, or the bladder. These stones may contain various combinations of minerals and other chemicals, some of which are derived from a person's diet. Gallstones are produced in the gallbladder and are different from those formed in the urinary tract.Although obstruction of the urinary tract often occurs, it is usually temporary and causes no lasting damage. In some cases, however, particularly if the obstruction progresses silently, infection may occur, which can be serious and which warrants prompt attention

Topic: Growth on and in my nose

Message: Hi, I was wondering if you ever found out what the growth is? I have the same thing going on with my nose, except I had a fairly small mole on the left side of my nose. I had it removed last week, but reports aren't back yet. My dermatologist said from the looks of it, it was probably okay. I asked her about the growth, but she wasn't sure what may have caused it, I think she wanted to check on the mole first. Please let me know if you have found out anything else, I'm starting to really worry! Thanks!

Message: Allergy during pregnancy is not abnormal. It’s nothing to be scared. Just try to find out which allergen (what make you allergic of any particular substance) made you allergic and avoid that. You can read the following article for better idea. Click the link below:http://www.ndri.com/article/treatment_and_precaution_of_allergy_asthma_during_pregnancy-329.htmlTry to keep in contact with any gynecologist if conditions further deteriorate.

Topic: Itchy all over, swollen hands and feet, pregnant

Message: Since yesterday I have been feeling itchy all over with swollen, stiff hands and feet. My hands and feet feel like I've been stung by a bee several times. I have all over red blotchiness on my body but not a raised rash.I don't have a fever or other symptoms, although I was feeling really tired yesterday and last week I had a mild cold with fever for one day. I've never had an allergic reaction before to anything so I am worried this is more than an allergic reaction.I am 6 months pregnant, which makes me even more worried. I've been to a doctor here, but Jakarta doctors are not well known for being right - the doctor prescribed an antihistamine (Claritin) but said it could take days to work.Is there any chance it is something other than an allergy?

Topic: Growth on and in my nose

Message: Greetings,In the last two months I have noticed a large flat freckle on the end of my nose. I have several freckles and few moles on my body, and I have no moles on my face. This freckle is large and has absolutely no texture or depth. But it`s quite large, almost like a group of freckles that have somehow merged. I think it`s getting bigger, which of course means I need to see a doctor, but I`m living overseas and am not quite sure what to do.I have also noticed that the bridge of skin that divides my nostils is slightly uneven. It`s subtle, but I would have noticed it before. It dips a little lower on the left side, the side where the freckle is located. Originally I thought that perhaps this is my first age spot ... in the worst possible location. But there`s something odd about it.Additionally, I noticed a few days ago that there is a large growth under my skin. I discovered it when I pushed upward on the bridge of my nose, thereby pulling my nose back and stretching the nostrils. It shows up as a yellowish round growth/object on the same side as my freckle. When I squeeze the tip of my nose together and slide my fingers down toward the end, I can feel a change.Does the nose have any detached cartilage near it`s end? Faces are usually asymetirical, so would the same apply to the inner structure of a nose? Except for the freckle, none of this is noticeable to the casual observer. But something does seem off kelter, and now I`m quite concerned, as I`m fair skinned with red hair. I`m 36 and know that age spots are common, but I would appreciate any insights regarding what I`ve described. I`ll try to find a doctor, but I don`t know if my basic insurance will cover it.If any doctors are reading this, I would welcome your insight. I`ve read what I can and am in need of some guidance or at least an education.Thank you!
