Greetings,
In the last two months I have noticed a large flat freckle on the end of my nose. I have several freckles and few moles on my body, and I have no moles on my face. This freckle is large and has absolutely no texture or depth. But it`s quite large, almost like a group of freckles that have somehow merged. I think it`s getting bigger, which of course means I need to see a doctor, but I`m living overseas and am not quite sure what to do.
I have also noticed that the bridge of skin that divides my nostils is slightly uneven. It`s subtle, but I would have noticed it before. It dips a little lower on the left side, the side where the freckle is located. Originally I thought that perhaps this is my first age spot ... in the worst possible location. But there`s something odd about it.
Additionally, I noticed a few days ago that there is a large growth under my skin. I discovered it when I pushed upward on the bridge of my nose, thereby pulling my nose back and stretching the nostrils. It shows up as a yellowish round growth/object on the same side as my freckle. When I squeeze the tip of my nose together and slide my fingers down toward the end, I can feel a change.
Does the nose have any detached cartilage near it`s end? Faces are usually asymetirical, so would the same apply to the inner structure of a nose? Except for the freckle, none of this is noticeable to the casual observer. But something does seem off kelter, and now I`m quite concerned, as I`m fair skinned with red hair. I`m 36 and know that age spots are common, but I would appreciate any insights regarding what I`ve described. I`ll try to find a doctor, but I don`t know if my basic insurance will cover it.
If any doctors are reading this, I would welcome your insight. I`ve read what I can and am in need of some guidance or at least an education.
Thank you!

Hi, I was wondering if you ever found out what the growth is? I have the same thing going on with my nose, except I had a fairly small mole on the left side of my nose. I had it removed last week, but reports aren't back yet. My dermatologist said from the looks of it, it was probably okay. I asked her about the growth, but she wasn't sure what may have caused it, I think she wanted to check on the mole first. Please let me know if you have found out anything else, I'm starting to really worry! Thanks!
